Vintage necklaces by Miriam Haskell, signed "MIRIAM HASKLL" on the reverse of the clasps.

This set includes 2 pieces: 1 pearl necklace and 1 chain necklace, both by Miriam Haskell.
Miriam Haskell was a New York–founded costume jewelry house launched in 1926, celebrated for its intricately hand-assembled, heavily beaded, baroque-pearl and filigree aesthetic—shaped for decades with designer Frank Hess (1926–1960)—and its vintage pieces remain highly collectible, with examples held by institutions like The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Material:
- Classic and renowned Niki synthetic pearls, famously used by Miriam Haskell;
- Brass.

Measurements:
- Pearl necklace length: ~73 cm, or 28.74 in, unadjustable;
- Bead diameter: ~8 mm, or 0.31 in;
- Chain necklace length: ~75 cm, or 29.53 in, unadjustable.

Flaw:
- Overall vintage wear present, with brass naturally prone to age-related discoloration and tarnishing;
- The synthetic pearls show noticeable wear, including flaking, peeling, and surface scratching, with visible signs on multiple pearls;

Please note that the Niki pearls used by Miriam Haskell are inherently prone to flaking and peeling. Unlike most synthetic pearls that rely on electroplated coatings, Niki pearls achieve their nacreous luster through a traditional pearilizing process, in which glass beads are dipped in a special fish scale–derived emulsion that hardens into their luminous surface, without modern color-sealing technology.
